Six Feet Under - The Complete Third Season

This week is going to suck.  I start training for my new  job today and so far have had to take three days off this week just to make it through the first week of training.  Hopefully it gets better, because I can't afford to take that much time off at Red Robin when I'm only going to be making minimum wage going through training at Kip's.

Other than that I think this new job should be fun.  My friend Marcus got a job there with me and two of our other Red Robin co-workers plan on applying if we like it.  It will be nice working with people that are my friends and I really like, and it will be nice to get away from the high school drama that is Red Robin.

Mission 19 is in town this weekend, so if you are reading this and you are over 21 and want to see a great band come to the Lodge Bar on 5th and Hennepin at around 10 pm on Thursday night.  It's going to be an awesome time.

That's all for now

I'm sick!!!!  I've been that way for about the last week.  I was really hoping that having yesterday and today off would make a difference, but in fact, I have just gotten worse, and I do not look forward going to work tomorrow.  Being sick when you work in a restaurant is not fun!

Speaking of which, I found another job.  A Marriott is opening not far from where I am going to live and I will be working in their pub.  It's going to be an authentic Irish pub which is kind of exciting.  Everything is actually being flown over from Ireland.  I start working there in the middle of June.

My cousin was just here for the last two weeks.  He lives in Texas but his mom lives up here so he comes up during breaks and stuff.  It was a fun two weeks.  We rented a lot of movies, went out ALOT, you know the usual things kids around our age do.

Other than that, not a whole hell of a lot going on.  But FYI for anyone who might read this, I just bought the Gave Degraw CD, if you don't have it, go buy it!  One of the best CDs I have purchased in a long time!

That is all.

These Words [EP]

Oh my goodness, its been so long! Five months later and my life has changed completely.  So let's get everyone caught up real quick shall we?

December:  Nothing exciting there.  I went to Nashville for the last bowl game of my marching career and two days into the trip got sidelined with a kidney infection.  I never made it to my last game.  I was back in Minneapolis and in bed at 11:45 on New Year's Eve while the rest of the band partied it up in Nashville.  The upside was I lost 10 pounds!

January:  I had my last conversation with Josh.  We tried to talk to each other a couple times but there was so much animosity and anger that we fell out of touch shortly around the beginning of the year.  I still think about him from time to time and a part of me misses the friendship we had, but then another part of me remembers all the bullshit he put me through and I quit missing it pretty quickly.

February:  Best month ever!  8 days of February was spent vacationing in my favorite place on earth.  LONDON, ENGLAND!!  I went with my friend Julie to see my friend Charlie, my best friend since 9th grade.  He moved out there last August and was very excited to have company.  While there, I saw Stonehenge, The Tower of London, Big Ben, Bath, Parliament, Buckingham Palace and went to services at Westminster Abbey.  It was the best week of my life, and I can't wait to move there in a couple years and be exactly like Charlie!

March:  Non eventful.....moving on

April:  3rd Annual 21st Birthday Bash!  This year it took place at the Kelly Inn in Plymouth where I rented a really awesome suite equipped with a huge hot tub three balconies and tons of room to drink.  Fun was had by all.

And so far this month has been really boring.  I have been working full time at Red Robin as always, but I am actually looking for another job to supplement my income.  I'm moving in two and a half months, hopefully into a really awesome townhome in Plymouth so I need to save my money so I can pimp that place out and then wreck it the first weekend I live there with a huge party.

So I am getting ready to go to a job fair now.  Hopefully, I find something worthwhile.  Have a good one!

Day 13~ It's been 13 days and still no word from Josh.  I don't feel like I am all that bothered by it, other than the fact that I feel like I wasted three years of my life.  Now that's a downer.  If I had done something wrong I would be more than willing to admit it, but I didn't.  And I am really bothered by the fact that he doesn't care.  With all that we have had and been through in the last three years, I don't understand why he doesn't care that I am upset.  I am really trying to focus my energy elsewhere.

That's why I'm going to London!  I had an epiphany last Sunday night.  I was sick of school and work.  That's all I have done for the last five years.  I need to do something exciting!  And more importantly, I needed to do something for myself.  So this week, my best friend Julie and I are booking our flight and getting our passports.  We have two friends that live in London, so we will be able to save on a hotel which will be awesome!  I can't wait.  It gives me something to look forward to for the next two months.

So here's a question I could use some advice on.  Josh lent me his band letter jacket at the beginning of November for the WisconSIN game.  I still have it and I don't really want it A)because it doesn't belong to me, and B)because I don't want a constant reminder of him.  I was thinking about dropping it off at his house or at his work and hope that I don't run into him because I don't want conflict.  So do I chance it and bring it to his home or work and chance running into him?  Or do I just hold on to it and if he wants it back he can call me?

I need help with this!!
